At the Trillium Lakelands District School Board's annual meeting on Thursday, Trustee Colleen Wilcox was acclaimed as chair, and Trustee Esther Childs was re-elected as vice-chair. Both will hold their positions for one year, with elections set for December 2025. Wilcox, who represents Ward 7 in Kawartha Lakes, has been a trustee for eight years and is passionate about community involvement.

Childs, who represents Bracebridge, has been with the board since 2022 and brings a wealth of experience as a former educator.

Trustee Bruce Reain continues as past chair.
