MPP Graydon Smith says he is happy to see that kids will be back in school today, following yesterdays announcement by the provinice and CUPE, the union representing education workers to return to the bargaining table.

Yesterday, after the threat of a upcoming general strike, the Ford government extended an olive branch promising to retract Bill 28, imposed on workers, if they called off the strike.

Smith says that Ford listened to the people, and his goal was to keep kids  back in class, saying “I got two kids of my own that have been home the last couple of school days. And I know they are excited to be going back again.”
