Risk of Frostbite Today

Winter is not even a month old yet and today with the wind chill, Muskoka will be the coldest its been in 2019.
At 5 a.m. the temperature was -21 C but with the blistering wind it feels like -32 C.
The windchill will improve to -19 this afternoon afternoon as the temperature climbs to -13 C. The low-teen windchill values will continue into the overnight hours. The weatherman is warning of the risk of frostbite.
The good news is that the icy cold weather will relax somewhat this weekend. Environment Canada says the temperature will be improve to -5 with sunshine on Sunday.
Starting next Monday, we should see highs on -3.
