Bracebridge OPP have charged five people after recovering a stolen vehicle in Port Carling.

Police say that on Monday, an officer was patrolling Muskoka Road 118 when the vehicle was flagged by the Automated License Plate Reader as possibly stolen.

The car, confirmed to be stolen from Caledon, had stopped at a service center.

Charged are 22-year-old Yogesh Kumar, 23-year-olds Ajpreet Singh and Sumit Sumit, 25-year-old Amritpal Singh, and Anmol Singh, who faces additional charges for possession of heroin.

All five are set to appear in court on January 21, 2025.
