Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC), advised that  the COVID-19 outbreak at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge has been declared over.

The outbreak, which was originally declared on January 26, was lifted on Monday and included four patient cases and two staff cases in total.

The MAHC says the East Wing at the hospital is still under enhanced surveillance for COVID-19 and patients on this unit are being monitored for symptoms.

Currently there are no restrictions for Designated Care Partners who are visiting their loved ones on East Wing.
