The District of Muskoka is taking steps to support residents affected by the nationwide postal strike that is impacting the delivery of mail and parcels, including Ontario Works payments and water and sewer billings.

The District says alternative payment options are available, including pre-authorized debit, telebanking, online banking, and in-person payments at District offices or local banks.

Ontario Works clients can pick up their income support cheques at Community Service Hub locations in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and Huntsville.
