One person is dead after a plane crash yesterday in Lake of Bays. 

Six others were rescued by helicopter yesterday around 10am after a float plane crashed into Upper Raft Lake.  A Canadian Forces Griffon Helicopter rescued and then transported victims to the Muskoka Airport to awaiting paramedics.  The injured were then transported to hospital.

Transport Canada is investigating the cause of the crash.
