Yesterday, just after noon, police responded to reports of a naked man running on Old Muskoka Road. Upon investigation, officers found that 34 year-old Thomas Fletcher had been acting erratically and became assaultive toward a victim, striking them with an object.

Police say the victim sustained minor injuries but did not require further medical attention after being assessed by Muskoka EMS.

Fletcher was taken into custody without incident, and faces charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and failing to comply with a probation order.

Fletcher was taken into custody, to appear in a bail Court today.
