The Township of Muskoka Lakes has announced it is reviewing its Comprehensive Zoning By-Law to align with its recently updated Official Plan. As mandated by the Planning Act, the Township must amend its Zoning By-Law within three years of the Official Plan's approval, which was granted by the District of Muskoka in 2023.

To assist in this update, the Township has engaged Meridian Planning Consultants Inc. and The Planning Partnership.

A Project Steering Committee has also been formed to provide initial feedback and guidance to the Planning Committee.

The final updated by-Law will require approval from Council.
