The Township of Lake of Bays has opened the second intake for its Environmental Projects Grant Program, now accepting applications for key funding streams aimed at enhancing local environmental initiatives. A highlight this round is the new Watershed Fund, offering up to $5,000 for projects focused on protecting watershed health and improving water quality.

Mayor Terry Glover emphasizes the need for community action to preserve Lake of Bays’ natural beauty.

Priority will be given to initiatives related to erosion control, biodiversity conservation, and habitat enhancement.

Applications are open until December 31, 2024.
