Huntsville Art Crawl on through June
The Huntsville Art Crawl, a self-guided art tour in and around Huntsville is on and is open to the public.
Dan Watson with the Huntsville Festival of the Arts says visitors can build their own free art crawl experience by seeing local shops, galleries, and studios that showcase exhibits and interactive experiences by local artists throughout the month of June.
An organized group walk is held every Wednesday in Downtown Huntsville to explore and enjoy the Huntsville Art Crawl. At 5 pm, participants gather at the HfA Studio located at 58 Main St, across from River Mill Park, before beginning a tour of various stops on the Huntsville Art Crawl and ending at a local restaurant or bar for drinks and appetizers. Watson says there will be lots of fun surprises along the way including visits from participating artists, prizes, music and more.
In 2021, 1,680 people attended the event, which featured 36 performers and 26 businesses and generated $10,575 in sales.
