Doctor Charles Gardner with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit release a new “Letter of Instruction” to Simcoe – Muskoka area businesses today – taking effect on Monday, September 6^th, to implement measures including remote work where possible, minimize the number of people in a vehicle, and post a COVID-19 plan.

The steps are in addition to active screening of workers and members of the public, and recording contact information.

The new instructions require masks to be worn in the workplace and maintaining a safe distance from other people.

As well, the business or property owner should conduct regular reviews of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are working at optimum levels.
