The Town of Huntsville flags have been lowered to half-mast at to honour the passing of Huntsville’s past Mayor, Robert  Addison.

Appointed at age 33, Addison was first elected to Town of Huntsville’s Council in January 1968. He was appointed as Mayor in 1970. During his time on Council, he also served on several committees including Chair of Welfare, Police, Fire and Finance committees.
