The Fire Dept’s in the Almaguin Highlands will be lifting the Fire Ban today, joining the Fire Chiefs in Muskoka who have set the rating at MODERATE.

Small fires are permitted in most rural areas, keeping in mind that NO DAYTIME BURNING is allowed.

The Fire Dept say you must have adequate tools and water to extinguish the fire if the need arises and you must be with your fire at all times.
