Environment Canada warns of large hail, as it issues thunderstorm watch

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the listening area.
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing large hail up to 3 cm in diameter or up to toonie size and heavy rainfall up to 50 mm within an hour.
The storm is expected late this afternoon into early tonight.
