Bracebridge OPP have charged a local man with impaired driving and drug possession.

Police say that on Saturday night, officers responded to a concern from a member of the public about a driver near Pine Street in Bracebridge.

Following their investigation, 46-year-old Jason Cheetham of Bracebridge was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs, possession of an opioid, and possession of cocaine.

Cheetham is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on February 4, 2025.
