The Town of Bracebridge is advising that starting on Tuesday, the external demolition of the old Memorial Arena will begin. The town says the contractor will be using only heavy machinery to take down the facility, and there will be no use of explosives. 

Community members are reminded that the area is an active construction site and keep a safe distance from the site at all times.
