Bracebridge crews are still clearing debris and restoring roads after the weekend’s freezing rain event.

The municipality says the Significant Weather Event remains in effect, and residents are urged to stay off roads where cleanup is ongoing.

Lakeland Power and Hydro One are working to restore power, but delays are expected.

The Muskoka Lumber Community Centre is open as a warming centre and for device charging, while the Bracebridge Sportsplex remains closed.

For safety, avoid downed power lines and check on updates before traveling.
