The Town of Bracebridge says it is working to create a program for short-term rental accommodations that will include consideration of amendments to the Official Plan, Zoning By-law, and Licensing By-law, as well as a municipal accommodation tax.

Residents are invited to participate in open house sessions to learn more about short term rental accommodations, watch a detailed presentation from and provide your feedback.  The town says a recording of the November 1 virtual session will be shared online after the event for those unable to attend.

Beginning May 19, 2022 all property owners who offered a short term rental accommodation in Bracebridge are required to register their property and obtain a licence to operate legally in accordance with the bylaw.
