A rainfall warning has been issued for the Town of Bracebridge which continues to experience historically high flood levels.  The Town is encouraging residents to take precautionary measures to ensure life safety. Residents affected by flooding are reminded to check in and update 211 on their situation.

In addition to the 100 Canadian Armed Forces Reservists and equipment currently in the area assisting with the flood, an additional 60 troops and two armored vehicles are being deployed to the area. Troops will continue to assist with sandbagging activities and the provision of equipment and resources to support first responders and evacuation efforts.
