Bracebridge OPP reports that two escaped inmates from Beaver Creek Institute in Gravenhurst are back in custody.

On Wednesday, at 7:15 p.m., staff reported that 68-year-old Michael Karas and 70-year-old Jay Sedore were missing during a head count.

With help from the Muskoka Crime Unit, ROPE Squad, and Toronto Police, officers found the men in a GTA hotel before 8:00 p.m. Both were safely apprehended.
